 Ballet classes (which encourage grace and good posture) and Character
Classes (which show the theatrical presentation of dance from different
countries) are taught by Teresa Blee. The syllabus followed is that devised
by the Royal Academy of Dance. Ballet and Character lessons take place on
Mondays, Wednesday and Saturdays and children can start from 3 years of
age.Modern/Jazz classes (a 'pop'/jazzy style) and Tap classes (have fun whilst making a great tapping sound) are taught by Debbie Johnson and the syllabus is that devised by The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance. Modern/Jazz and Tap lessons take place on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and children can start when they are 4 years old.  Debbie also teaches a Beginners Ballet class which is a very basic
introduction to dance and movement in general. The class usually has a
theme or storyline, which the children get involved in for a few weeks
and songs, nursery rhymes, various props and a few basic dance steps
are introduced in a fun way.
